Shane's Birthday Party!!!....4 More Days to Abigail

"O Come, let us sing unto the LORD: let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation." Psalm 95:1
Well, we have wrapped up another busy week! Poor Cody stayed in the hospital until Sunday evening around 4:30 p.m. He suffered quite a bit with his ruptured appendix. Praise the Lord he is better and at home. Shiloh has surgery on her ears tomorrow so all prayers are appreciated! The planned "trio party" for Shane, Cody and Buddy ended up being a birthday party for Shane as it was Saturday at 5:00 p.m. and Cody was still in the hospital. Buddy didn't come to the party as he went to the hospital so Susie and the other 3 children could attend. Shane was very excited to be having his birthday party! He is such a happy and energetic little boy. He loves life and each day is an adventure for him. I have been so blessed with my three children. I spent Saturday morning moving out furniture and pulling up carpet out of our bedroom as Andy and Roy will replace it while we are in China. Again, we are so blessed with a great family that is always there to help us out. The party went great even though we missed not having Buddy and Cody with us. Sharon made Shane a Superman cake and as always he enjoyed blowing out the candles.
On Sunday, I met Luke for the first time! I had a short visit with his family. What a cutie pie! He is small and has the sweetest face. I can't wait for he and Abigail to see each other again once we get back home. I'll include pictures of him in the next post before we leave on Thursday.
Tuesday and Wednesday will be filled with finishing getting the bedroom ready for the new floor, putting the finishing touches on the packing, double-checking my paperwork list that is to be taken to China!
