"And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father." Philippians 2:11
Who would have thought that we would get one more snowfall for the Winter. I wasn't even aware they were calling for snow until Saturday sometime. The forecast was anywhere from 3 to 12 inches depending on where you lived. I woke up Sunday morning not feeling my best but went to church to fulfil my duty as Sunday School Assistant Teacher for the 4 -5 year old class. By the time the morning service was over, I was really feeling really puny so I went straight to bed after lunch. John went to the evening service and Shane and I stayed at home. Snow was falling gently after the morning service but did not really pick up until around 7:00 p.m. The first several hours of snow did not stick and as best as I can tell, it snowed all during the night. My throat continued to get very sore, I ran a fever and had a headache. I called into work and spent most of today in the recliner. I am blessed to have a sister that lives next door and she has teenage daughters so Mandy and Kelsey came over and helped with Shane and light housework. We ended up with no more than 3 -4 inches at our house and it quickly melted as the sun came out during the mid-day. I don't think we will see anymore snow for this Winter but you never know about these things..........
At some point, I gave Kelsey my camera and told her to take pictures as they were outside playing in the snow. She took over 50 pictures in less than 15 minutes! I am only including a couple of pictures in this post. You don't see any pictures of Shane playing in the snow as by the time, I thought of giving Kelsey the camera, he had come inside and would not go back out for fear of Sharon making him go home with her. The closer we get to our trip, the more he refuses to leave my side. 17 days until we fly to China.......the wait has been long. I am sure once we are home with her, the time will start to fly again.
