For ye were sometimes darkness, but now are ye light in the Lord: walk as children of light. Ephesians 5:8

This blog post is being done on Friday, March 27th around 7:00 p.m. I still can't update from the Internet Cafe so my sister is updating for me. Today is a gorgeous day in Urumqi. The weather is sunny and around 50 degrees. After breakfast and a morning stroll, we went with Mr. Li to the museum. It was very nice. Urumqi has 8 ethnic groups of Chinese. He thinks that Abigail may be Han -by her facial structure. After the museum, we went to a local Pizza Hut and ate lunch. Abigail is doing better with me each day. Last night, after her bath , I took a bath and she came into the bathroom and attempted to wash my hair and comb it. After I got out of the tub, she blew my hair dry. She amazes me at how well she can do such things. She is very careful and has great small motor skills. She stays up late because she fights sleep and won't let me hold her. Shane went to sleep by 8:30 p.m. and she went to asleep after 11:30 p.m. She does not cry at night or in the morning when she awakens. She is fine to be with me but if John or Mandy are around, she still prefers them. Sibling rivalry is in full swing. Shane is now hitting back all the time and she backed down for the first time today. She is figuring out that he is stronger. When we were at the museum, she stayed with Mr. Li and chattered the whole time to him. I think she really misses being able to communicate with someone on a constant basis. He held her hand and we went through the museum and she was very well behaved. Shane acted out some so he lost pool privileges for today. We leave for Guangzhou tomorrow and it is almost a 5 hour flight. Please pray for us, not only for safety but that the children travel well! Take care and God bless.
