Abigail slept 12 hours last night. I think it was due to the 3 shots she was given yesterday at the medical clinic. We had a very enjoyable day and did our usual routine of breakfast at the hotel. Strolling and the children playing in the park, shopping, etc. We had lunch at Lucy's and sat outside. We ran into Leah's family at lunch so we enjoyed spending a little time with them. We had a 3:00 p.m. consulate appointment and Mr. Li picked us up and drove us there. He has truly been wonderful to us and we have absolutely nothing but positive things to say about him. It is also official and we have her Visa to enter the USA and the famous brown packet that we have to keep sealed and give to the Immigration Officer once we arrive in Dullus. Abigail has eaten very little today and is more low key than usual. I, again, think it is due to the shots she received yesterday. We are ordering Papa John's again tonight as we ordered it last night and it was very good. The weather was a little warmer today as it is has been quite cool in Guangzhou for the past few days. Abigail has been wearing a jacket and pants with her dress. She loves her dresses! We had a scare the other night with her somehow managing to shut the doors that adjoined our two rooms. All of our paperwork and her diaper supplies were in the other room and we had the chain lock on the door because she has a habit of opening the door and going out of it. It took over an hour for the hotel folks to figure out how to get the chain lock off from the outside. I told Mandy not to worry about the chain lock anymore! If she gets in the hallway and someone steals her, they will pay us double to take her back! Just kidding! She really is adorable but has more energy and spunk than I ever imagined. We leave the hotel at 7:30 a.m. in the morning and have a 5 hour lay over in Beijing. It is going to be a very long day for us! I. The next time you all will hear from us we will be home, Lord willing.
