I had not updated the blog in so long that I actually forgot how to sign in temporarily. The heat of summer is over but it is January and it still feels like we have not had winter in Virginia. The temperatures seem to hover around 50 degrees which is nice. I just miss the snow! We had a wonderful Christmas. It is bittersweet these days, however, as we now celebrate them without either of my parents being with us. I am not sure that the day will ever come that I don't miss them. Abigail and I brought the New Year in at the hospital as she was admitted on New Year's Eve. We were discharged on January 2nd. Praise the Lord! The kids are doing great in school and Luci grows smarter with each passing day. My role at work changed in August and I am now in Employee Relations. It is quite different from recruiting and I am enjoying the challenge. John is now working in the Harrisonburg branch of his company and is a Division Manager. Our house is never dull and we are blessed!
