The pictures say it all. We are having a busy summer as usual. It is HOT in Virginia! Last summer was so mild compared to this summer. I am eagerly anticipating September! Our whole family is still together and while every room is full and the house is messy most of the time and the work never seems to be done, it is truly great having all of my family together. Both boys are now working full-time. Praise the Lord! We survived another VBS which was very exciting this year. Our theme was "Run the Race with Patience" and on the last night, we had Todd Bennick as a guest and he jumped over buses on his motorcycle. It was quite a show and John and Kelsey were brave and stood on one of the buses while he jumped over it with his motorcycle.
John and I celebrated our 29th wedding anniversary by spending one night at Virginia Beach. It was a WONDERFUL 24 hours!! We couldn't stay any longer due to our VBS commitment that week. John Anthony and Melissa just celebrated their 6 wedding anniversary also.
We had the pleasure of visiting with the family that we traveled to China with in 2006 to bring Shane home. It was great to see them again after almost 4 years. I regret that I forgot to get out my camera and take pictures. Shane and Helen played together like old friends and it was cute to see.
It is late so I am going to run off to bed. The next big event is Luci's 1st birthday party which is this coming Saturday. You can bet there will be pictures of her party!!
