Her birthday is October 3rd so we were able to celebrate her birthday on her birthday! The weather was beautiful with clear skies and warm temperatures so we celebrated outside. As usual it was a family celebration with the grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins. There is never a shortage of children to help celebrate at our parties!
I dressed Abigail in a Princess dress for her first very own party. She received Curious George DVD's, a new bike, clothes, jewelry, several pocket books and other items. I took her to the mall on Thursday to get her ears pierced. She loves going through my jewelry box so I told her if she wanted to wear earrings that we would get her ears pierced. You can see her new earrings on the last picture on this post, if you look closely. Jeremy came home for the celebration and it was great seeing him since I had not seen him since he left for college on August 15th. Sharon made her a "princess cake" and it was a nice "girlie" party. My very first one as a mother and I loved it!
Fifteen more days until we travel to Boise to see our precious granddaughter and her parents!
