Life is busy. There is no other way to describe it other than to add but it is good! Our family held true to tradition and went to the Outer banks for Spring Break. It was great! Jeremy and his fiancee' were able to join us all 4 children were with us which always makes it extra special. While cool, the weather was great and we had a wonderful time.
In May, the kids had a field trip to the Washington Zoo and we took Luci with us. It was fun and again, the weather was great. It was not too hot but sunny. We wrapped the month of May up with Abigail's graduation from kindergarten. She was excited to be graduating but truly sad to see school end for the year. I have never seen a child love school the way she does. Praise the Lord! Both she and Shane did very well this year. Shane stayed on honor roll the entire year. While he does not love it quite as much as she does, he does enjoy it and is quite popular with kids of all ages at the school. In fact, he is popular with the adults as well. He is very outgoing and friendly and people are naturally drawn to him.

As we entered the month of June, it was hot!! It was a really hot summer in Virginia! We had Vacation Bible School and the Pine Car Derby in the month of June. Shane, Abigail, Nicholas and Kelsey entered the competition. Nicholas won the race for his class. July brought Luci's 3rd birthday party which I will mention in my next post!
